Mosaic Solutions AS is currently involved in developing a proprietary and novel technology that will bring down the cost of isotropic conductive adhesives. By replacing solid silver with unique metal coated polymer spheres we not only replace the noble metal but also reduce the thermo mechanical stress. The adhesive can be customized to specifications through formulation of the matrix, design of the spheres (core, size and coating) and fill ratio. The spheres are uniform in size and this opens up for using the adhesive as spacer material. We also develop conductive materials with unique fillers such as nano carbon and silver crystals.
